Third Party Payment integration in Microsoft Dynamics NAV

Is there any way to implement a third party payment gateway integration in Microsoft Dynamics NAV for handling credit card transactions.

The payment gateway can be integrated in D-365 by implementing the payment connector as mentioned in this document The guide to implement Payment Connector.  Is there any path similar path available in the Dynamics NAV SDK to integrate the payment gateway. 

If no such path exist, then how customer can process the credit card payments in the Dynamics NAV.
