Dyn365 BC On-Prem Subscription License Error

Hi All,

We have a customer using Dyn365 BC On-Prem Subscription License on Azure.

After uploaded the license via Development Environment successfully, we can't login the system.

We got the error of "The License Information is Not Valid".

Is it Microsoft License error or there is different setting for the license or instance since this is Dyn365 BC On-Prem Subscription License on Azure?

Thanks.

I think there’s a problem in the license file. Is it enabled for D365BC?

    Hi Stefano,

    Thanks for your reply.

May I know what did you mean enabled for D365BC?

Basically, this is a new customer who just bought Dyn365BC On Prem Subscription License and its hosted on Azure VM.

Aft uploaded the license successfully, but we cannot login the system at all. Was prompted error license information invalid.

We not sure is it due to Microsoft license error or there are extra setting.

    Your advise is much appreciated.

    Thanks.

I mean to check on PartnerSource that the license for this customer is for D365BC. Maybe check also the license detail file (TXT).

    Hi Stefano,

Yes, the license is D365BC as the screenshot.

Is there any setting to be done when we download the license from PartnerSource? Or is there any setting to be done specially for Subscription License on Azure?

I am also suspecting it is due to Microsoft License Error.

    Thanks.

No other settings. I suggest to contact MS, maybe there’s a problem in the license file generation.

    Hi Stefano,

    Okay, we will contact Microsoft.

Meanwhile, Dyn365 BC On Premise Subscription Fees is cheaper is hosted on Azure.

But how does Microsoft verify that the system is truly hosted on Azure? Any idea?

    Thanks.

    Hi Darren,

Have you got an answer from Microsoft, because We have exactly the same issue with one of our customers.

Hi Daren, I think that the issue is solved with Cumulative update 1. Have you tried it?

    Hi All,

Yes, this was resolved. B4 CU1 was released, Microsoft generated another license file for me.

Now with CU1, this issue is no more.

    Thanks.

Just to clarify one point. Did you assign user license (Premium and Team member) to each user ?
