Can we please go back to the beginning. You have one type of posting that gives you this error? You get this for one user on one computer? if you login as this one user on another computer you do not get this error? As previously suggested, it could be a corrupt DYNAMICS.DIC file. You either copy the entire DYNAMICS program folder from the working computer or uninstalled DYNAMICS and do a complete reinstall.

Why not copy gp folder over from working system and copy it on troubled system on same path (so avoid updating set file path ) and check if everything is working fine or not.

    Thanks Heather Roggeveen....

Actually, the  report and posting  the batch are worked fine with the machine of the user who created  . By Other user login also its working fine from that system. what could be the reason.!!

    Hi Belraj

It seems like you have one of two issues:

    1. Either there is a problem with the install on your workstation.
    2. Or there is a problem with your user ID.

You note if the user that created the batch tries to access it, no error.  That suggests nothing wrong with the system overall.

So - can you go to the machine of the user who created and log into Dynamics GP as you and access the batch?  Do you get the same error?  If so, then the problem is your user ID.  If not, then it looks like it might be your computer.

So, can the user who created the batch come to your computer and log into Dynamics GP as her user?  Does he / she get the error message?  If yes, then it is a problem with your computer.

That is always a good approach to try and isolate where the problem is.

    Cheers

    Heather

If you are able to smoothly run report from other system then it must be your corrupt dictionary, why not copy gp folder over from working system ( update your set file if you have different paths).

I have completely run out of ideas. I have never seen this message before. Hopefully someone from Microsoft will chime in. Do you have any support incidents with Microsoft left?

Can you set all reports back to use the default versions and not any modified versions to see if this message goes away? Tools->Setup->System->Alternate Forms/Reports  You may have a damaged reports dictionary.
