Global Dimension Security Issue

I was attempting to change the global dimension in my test environment when I received the below error. I am logged in as the administrator so I should have access to everything. Any idea what the problem is?

    Hello Brian,

    It appears that the message is on the Resource Ledger Entry table. I was able to reproduce this same error message here in house.   To recreate I had to have posted a Sales Invoices that was created from a Job with Resources on the Invoice which had Dimensions assigned.  Once I had that scenario I was able to reproduce this same exact error.

    I researched the Resource Ledger Entry table and it appears in Dynamics 365 for Financials users do not have Modify access, so I will be writing this issue up and submitting it to our development team requesting this be fixed.

    Thank you for the response. Like I said it's in my test environment so we haven't had a client have that issue but I don't see clients changing their global dimensions very often.
