GP10 Webservice (UpdateSalesOrder Method) Question

Hi there,

We are using gp 10 Webservice for sales order processing and in my company we have to edit the order quantity, after CREATING the order and through website using webservices. So that means my program should allow them to pull the sales order and let them modify the quantity and update the database fields - quantity, quantitytoinvoice and quantityfulfilled using update salesorder webservice webmethod. I am able do modify everything except quantityfulfilled. My company doesnt  want to allocate quantities untill it become invoice. Is there a way i can change quanity fulfill field with out allocating quantities?


Any help would be great.

    Yes, you can accomplish what you are asking by setting up the order type in Microsoft Dynamics GP to perform allocation by document or batch (Allocate by | Document/Batch). Just before you transfer the order to invoice, you can run the allocation process.

     HI Sandip,

    My problem has not been solved at now. I already done these thing which u told me .Manually I put Sales order with both functional and  non functionional currency PKR and USD into Gp with no problem it does  sales order fine.But when I try to insert sales order with nonfunctional currency USD from CRM4.0 to GP10.0  through GP web services than it does generate an error otherwise sales order with functional currency PKR  CRM4.0 to GP10.0 is fine.  

     ERROR IS

    " valadation exception has occure validation error the company doesnot have acces the currency key or inactive.
    the error was return from to theMCCurrency validation Proc"

    After see this error i will go GP-->Administration-->MulticurrCurrency Accesss Setup and give the acces but still i faced the same error .

     

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Muzammil,

    Did you run Checklink on Multicurrency setup after assigning Currency to company. Please keep backup before running checklink.

    Please do update your problem is resolve or not and again on IIS server where Web Service is installed can you check eConnect event viewer log for error that will also help you to resolve issue.

     HI Dear,

    I am using GP10 SP2 web-services for insertion/Updation a new sales order From CRM TO GP,

    when i send a hard code PKR  value into GP so,Salesorder does create Actually PKR is the Functional currency  , but when,I hard code USD which is a nonfunctional currency than it does generate an error .

    ERROR WAS

    Do you have Negative Value in Order Qty ?

    I am using GreatplainsDynamics webservices. I didnt create a new one.
