CRM LATENCY SOLUTIONS

Posted on by

We have offices based in Africa but our CRM server is in Europe.

We have high latency experiences way beyond the 150ms preferred limit, leading to user abandonment of CRM.

Are the any options on resolving this?

Thanks

    RE: CRM LATENCY SOLUTIONS

    Hi,

The high latency experiences is due to your CRM DC is located in Europe which is far away from your office location.

If your using Online Version. You could raise Geo Migration Request to improve the performance under the following official MS D365 Geo to geo migrations instructions.

    docs.microsoft.com/.../geo-to-geo-migrations

In addition, Dynamics 365 (online), version above  V9.0 does not currently support regional migration.

    Hope it would help.

    Regards

    Johnny

    Hi Steviejj,

With Dynamics 365 (online) you can use multiregional instances to solve this problem.

Only thing to recommend is Move to CRM online & get the best out of it. Or move your data center somewhere nearby.
