6We are trying to produce AL code that if a user is on leave, the system would automatically send/delegate their approvals onto their substitute approver.
We have created a new table holding the User ID and their leave start/end date. Our code first checks if the current date is between their start/end date.
It is then supposed to update the approver ID in the approval entry table to the substitute that is in the User Setup table, however this is not happening.
We have created the job queue entry for the code unit and it is running successfully in the background.
Are you able to see what it is we are doing wrong or point us in a direction that might help solve this issue.
Do you know are you even able to edit the approval entry table or is this a Microsoft protected table?
