Hi all,
We want to change one of the user's approval workflow amount. The workflow currently routes any purchase orders over $50,000 to user for approval.
we want to reduce the amount to purchase orders over $10,000.
How we can fulfill this requirement.
Please guide us.
Regards,
Akbar

Hello Akbarpasha ,
Please feedback with the result , if issue is solved or not yet ?
Hello Akbarpasha,
As i understand , you want if condition is true , go to approval step including both project manager ( Assignment type participant ) & selected users in the same time. i suggest to use parallel activity element which workflow will enter in two workflows branches in the same time. you can configure parallel activity as branch with approval step project manager & another branch approval step for selected users .
You can read more about it in the following URL. Please feedback us if there is anything not clarified or misunderstanding.
Hi Akbar,
i think you can put condition on net amount in workflow for approval of (0-$10000) and another condition for greater than $10000. And you can different role according to approval limit so you can assign it to multiple user if required.
Thanks,
Jay
Hello Akbarpasha,
I have read your last post twice, but I am not able to completely understand the issue. It seems to me from your last sentences that even you changed the "Assignment type" to USER, system is still assigning the work item to PARTICIPANT (Project manager). Could you confirm I have correctly understood your issue ?
Hi All,
Thank you for the valuable inputs, our WF is customized one and it starts with Project ids assigned in :Purchase orders having defined Project manager and Project controller with the approval limit, example (for <20k ): flow starts as , it checks the Project manager's approval limit, if it is <20k then it will check for the Purchase order total amount if this satisfies then it will check for Project manager's role if it fails then it will check for Project controller's role, if this also failed then finally it comes to Project manager.
we have checked the "Assignments" , it is selected for "Participants" where Project manager is defined, is it possible to select users as well in the Assignments, as we have tried but it is going only for Project Manager (Participants) even we have selected user as well for <20K.
It is only triggering "Participants" not picking the "users", we have selected "Completion policy" as "All approvers".
Hello Akbar,
There have been a number of responses.
Have you gone through them and can you let us know whether you have been able to get your issue resolved or whether some additional help from the community is needed?
Many thanks and best regards,
Ludwig
Hello Akbarpasha,
Is this sorted out?
It seems nothing more detail has been shared to get a clear idea in this thread.
As Noureldeen Desoki mentioned; you can simply update the value in the workflow configuration to get this fixed and this is straight forward approach.
Else; please check the suggestion made by Ludwig if any signing limit is a concern in this case.
Kindly check and update us.
Best regards,
Sourav Dam
Kindly mark this thread 'Yes' if this is answered your query which may help other community members in this forum.
Hi Ludwig ,
he didn't mentioned anything about signing limit functionality , he mentioned workflow approval so i thought in workflow setup which he changes an amount.
please Akbarpasha we need more clarification about the issue .
Hello Akbar,
Where is the amount of $50000 setup?
Is this a condition in the workflow or do you make use of the signing limit functionality?
If you make use of the latter, have a look at how the signing limits are setup in the OrgAdmin module.
Best regards,
Ludwig
