How can I get accounting period details using APIs?

I checked the APIs in the documentation, and I can't find the Accounting Periods or cycles details. So, need to know how to retrieve them.

    How can I get accounting period details using APIs?
    Hi, There are two methods. The simplest is to publish the page to Web Service, and then use Odata's Endpoint to query.
     
    The second method is to customize a new API page.
