Rounding precision in reports

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Is it possible in for example in inventory analysis report to have the unit costs displayed with 3 or more decimals instead of two? if so, how? otherwise I have a divergence between the amounts displayed in account schedules and those in analysis reports.

I'm wondering why do you have 3 digits in account schedule ? Cos they have the same functionality as sales analisys. May be you have some customization ... may be try to change regional settings in your computer (increase decimal places)

Unfortunately Rounding Factor will not give you an option for 3 decimal places , you need to customize the report to print more than 3 decimal places or change GL Setup Amount Decimal Places with rounding factor option has None. Please remember the GL Setup change will affect other reports, pages and functionality.

Oh I see! You mean not printed reports, but "matrix" reports, like Analisys Reports.

    To try "Rounding Factor" there:

Sales Analisys Reports -> Edit Analisys Report -> Setup columns -> "Rounding factor"
