Hi,

We're currently doing small change in an on-prem BC environment where each user gets assigned a Gen Journal Batch - to do this we simply added a new field in the Gen. Journal Batch table named User ID to obtain the below structure;

Batch A - User A

Batch B - User B

Batch C - User C

Now, we're currently struggling with ensuring that when a user opens the General Journal, the journal opens automatically with the batch assigned to him. Any ideas on how we can develop this via extensions, please?

RE: Land user on specific Gen. Journal Batch

A page extension for the general journal page which alters the OnOpenPage trigger. Set a local variable for the where the user batch reference is and then change the batch accordingly
