remove managed view/chart

Posted on by 40

Hello,

i don't know what the previous developer has done on the crm, and now i have this situation in the main solution:

Cattura.PNG

I need to hide/delete "My Open Leads", but i can't deactivate it because it is set as default view although already exist a default view ("1.Tutti i Lead").

And i can't delete it because it is a manged component....

I have'nt the original unmanaged componenent, so i can't make a patch.

My second problem is similar, how can i remove managed chart? they can't be deactivated nor deleted...

Does anyone have a solution?

    Hi

Components that are showing as managed in your screenshot above are out of the box managed ones, Your previous dev did not do anything to make it managed. Please see the screenshot from a fresh trial i have for both charts and views for Lead

These are managed because they are created by Microsoft as part of System entities. One other scenario where you will have custom views as managed is if you import from the different environment with a view in a managed solution.

You can set different View as default and deactivate so that other users cannot see.

If you do not want the view, you can try to delete - Before you delete check and remove any dependencies of the view

Please also be aware you can't delete certain system views

The situation with the 2 default views is strange. What happens if you try to set a different view as the new Default Public View?

The second question about deleting/deactivating managed charts: you unfortunately cannot remove/deactivate them.
