The following is the scenario, for a payroll change to be conducted in GP 2018:
1. Moving the pay week
a. Currently: Sunday to Saturday
b. Move to: Monday to Sunday
c. Effective Monday, December 30, 2019
d. Can we add a day to period 12? Is this the easiest way?
e. How is payroll affected?
If possible, please let me know on your experience with the final two questions above.

For payroll, all postings are affected by the check date, not by pay periods (it is cash basis). You will want to consult with someone regarding the time periods for calculating any overtime during those time periods to make sure it is not missed.
