GP Workflow Task Approval Failing if Past Due date

Hello,

I'm having issue when trying to approve a task in GP Dynamics 2010 with Due Date already expired. I read some where that there is issue with workflow as it throws error when due date is past. Is there any alternative solution to approve task with expired Due date?

I have never been through this issue before, although, somebody has been there before suffering from the same issue which is related to the old SharePoint purchase order approval workflow. Here is Ian Stewart article on Dynamics GP Workflow 2013 SP2 – Due days problem Understanding the behavior which lead this error may provide you for a temporary work around solution. Keep in mind that the upgrade to the new independent workflow is the ultimate solution, take some time to test its capabilities on a test environment and check that it will cover your business needs.
