I am trying to play around with the new Rapid Start Configuration Packages, I exported the tables to Excel, manipulated the data, and went to Import the Excel file but nothing is happening....

When I click choose, I then selected the excel file but nothing happens.....

Has anyone been able to successfully import a Rapid Start Package?

    Hi Brian,

    Yes, I have been able to successfully import from a RapidStart Configuration Package in Dynamics 365 for Financials.

    After you import the file, be sure to Validate Package (it's an action item on the Ribbon) to ensure you have not imported any data that could cause errors, then click on Apply Package in the ribbon. That should finalize what you've imported.

    If you are like me, you will likely run into error messages and the blue screen of death a couple times during this, but logging out and logging back in may help you work through these errors.
