Transaction by customer inquiry report different user different results

hi GP folks

I have two users in the same environment that print the transaction by customer inquiry report for the same customer and get different results.

They both access via terminal server, and use the same set file, with the same report dictionary.  They are both default user for modified forms and reports.  They are both using the same user preferences,

When we print the transaction by customer inquiry report however we get different results. With one user the report foots to the correct total, with the other user they report has a different total on it.

I'm stumped.  I've check the set file, the report dictionary, the security.  What else is there that these two users are different?

    Hi Tami

    I made a bad assumption.  The functional currency for the client is CAD.  The originating currency for the transactions is CAD, so logically the originating and functional view should generate the same data.  I never actually made the switch on the window before printing the report.

    I now have and have found that in functional currency there is a balance in originating currency there is no balance.

    Now how to fix it when as I say the functional and the originating are the same.

    yes they are.  I checked the view of the currency to see if one was looking at originating and one was looking at functional.  Both are viewing originating, and the customer in question originating currency happens to be the functional currency for the company, so there is no translation going on.
