When I use a HR and Payroll of MS GP 2010 and build a check from Build Check under Payroll option.

I am facing a following warning on report (report name is Build Check File Report). 

*****Sick Time pay hours exceed employee sick time available. **********Warning******

On the other hand I have sufficient sick time available in my sick time (Time Code). When I view a summary under Employee Attendance

I have also prepared Annual Leave Time code but I didn’t get such error on this time code

    I  have one more question.

    How I can use salary matrix and pay step table. Actually I confused and couldn’t find the way how it works.

    I have setup pay step table for (salary pay code) in this table I have arranged steps like for example:

    Step1             0-24 months           10000

    Step 2           12-48 months          15000                      

    Step 3           48-84 months          20000

    When I assign salary pay code from Pay code option under Employee in Human Resource of GP2010 the above table works fine.

    But when I assign position to pay code in Position/ Pay Code Setup the salary which I have described for particular position in salary matrix it will be over ride form the salary which I have been described in pay step table.

    Actually I totally confused how to setup both pay step and salary matrix I am unable to use the correct purpose of both

    Can you please tell me what is the actually purpose of pay step table and salary matrix.  How the both option work together or any advice from you people.

    I will really appreciate your timely response

    Can you reconcile . HR-->Reset Payroll Vacation and Sick Time Information.
