Delete SalesOrder.SalesLine by WebService

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

To delete a salesline in a salesorder I assume I have to use the service.Delete(salesline.key) function. What page can I use to do this. The page 42 for SalesOrder that I work against does not allow me to do that and gives me an error {"Table Id 37 of a supplied key does not match Table Id 36 of the page 42  source table."}

    Thanks everybody, works fine to just delete the row by webservice and page 46 (Rows) and the reservation is done.

    you can use page "Reservation Entries" (497) to check.

    to get the correct filter settings: open a sales order, then goto menu functions from sub page "lines" --> Reserve. that opens page 498 (Reserve). There click on "Reservation Entries" and display the filter settings. for usage with the webservice use the same filter settings.

    You can go to particular Item card and Select Entries-->Reservation Entries from Action.

    You can see all existing reservation lines here.

    How can I see this in the UI if the un-reservation has been done?

    Question, does the stock reservation dissapear from the row as well when I delete it or is that a realtime calculation in NAV?

    You have 2 options.

    1. Use page 46 - Subpage of the sales order.

    2. Create a codeunit to delete the sales order line depending on the Order No. and Line No. and expose it as a webservice and then use that to delete the sales order.
