Good day,
I would like to copy data from the vendTrans table to a custom entity/table in the same legal entity(company XYZ). The previous developer created a custom entity (
InvoicePaymentTrackerDataEntity) which used to receive records from VendTrans table.
Is there a way I can set up F&O to automatically copy records from VendTrans table to the custom entity periodically within the same legal-entity?
Hi, I didn't understood your requirement. Adding VendTrans as datasource in data entity will fetch all its record. May I know what business requirement are you trying to solve.
You can copy records from one table to another

The entity itself means a select statement with tables given. So it is not required to again copy data periodically. If the datasource is already present like for example vendtrans, then that entity is used for insert or update the data in those tables.

If you have a record in VendTrans table and the entity InvoicePaymentTrackerDataEntity uses VendTrans table as a DataSource then no need of copying the data.
