Custom program installation issue

Hello.

I am hoping that someone can help me!

I am having an issue installing custom Dynamics SL applications written on a 32 bit machine to a 64 bit client machine. I am able to launch Dynamics SL with no issue from this machine.

When I attempt to launch the application, I get a FileNotFoundException error.

It is not an issue with my code or with any files that my code is attempting to open. In order to troubleshoot, I created a blank Dynamics SL project, using no additional code and attempted to run it on the clients machine using the "Solomon.VBTools.Vb" module.

I tried the solution here, it has no effect.  dynamicsdevguy.blogspot.com/.../dynamics-sl-2011-sdk-and-visual-studio.html

There appears to be something that I am not installing correctly or something in the Vb module that needs to be modified.

    Oddly enough, I have it when I develop a C# application but not VB. I will look into it further! Thanks.

    I just double checked and I have x64/x32/Itanium as options on my 32 bit machine with VS10.

    I just dabble in VB development so I don't have a suggestion on what you might need to do to fix it. I do remember having to research the that error and set compile to x86 the first time I built an SL screen though.

    That might be the issue. I am compiling on a 32  bit machine and the only option that I have for platform target is ANY. Since it is a 32 bit machine, I assumed that 64 bit wasn't an option.

    Are you sure you are compiling to x86 like the article you mentioned states? That is usually what really fixes that problem.
