In Dynamics GP, the original promise date remains fixed after the original order is created. Changes to promised dates in the future are reflected in revised promised dates without impacting the original promised date. Required dates are a fixed date like the original promised date.
We issue many blanket orders and do not know what all of the subsequent required dates will be at the time of creation. Is there a way in which we can later enter required dates for the future line items so that we can measure vendor performance and minimize purchasing work?
