Hi All,
we have imported pending costs related to a service item with Use cost price by variant active
When activated, the field Price in the Manage Costs fasttab is populated with the first price imported.
Anyone know how to avoid this behavior?
Costing version setup below
With this price in the record entry the system calculates the BOM price of items with this service with the price in the Manage Costs Fast tab and not using the related cost in the Active costs related to the costing version

If you're using an actual costing method, I think the system will use the 'Price' on the 'Manage costs' fast tab if it does not have enough information to be able to calculate a cost price for an inventory issue.

we are using Standard cost. I get your point on inventory issue and I agree with you on that.
What it is strange is the behavior during BOM calculation where the service item is used.
Example:
BOM for ITEM A includes Configuration A of the service A with price 10€
BOM for ITEM B includes Configuration B of the service A with price 8€
We have imported pending prices and then activated them for SERVICE A for all configurations as follow
Configuration C 5€
Configuration B 8€
Configuration A 10€
The manage costs fast tab in the entry for Service A Price field is updated with the price 5€ (Configuration C cost)
During the BOM calculation the price used for ITEM A and also for ITEM B is 5€ and not the excpected 10 and 8.
