Purchase Order receiving Print issue

Dear All,

 

i am facing a problem, a particular Receiving in Receiving Transaction Entry against the PO is not showing the screen output when i select for print, neither it gives the print nor the screen output window occur, other receiving are just working ok. Please Help.

    Hello Asher,

    Thank you for the update.  I would like to verify when you recreate the receipt that you are using a different receipt number.  I would also like to verify if this is happening for a certain item or vendor?

    I would like to also verify that you are trying to print the edit list for this batch?

    It is strange since the report is based on the window and it should not matter what receipt you select.  Are you using any third party products, customizations or alternate windows?

    I have already performed this attempt by deleting and making new receipt but same issue remains.

    Hello Asher,

    Thank you for the update.  Usually when we have issues printing a report to screen or printer it is because we already have the screen out put window open in the back ground.  Since this only seems to be an issue with one receipt I would advise creating a test company and deleting this receipt.  Once the receipt has been deleted you can enter a new receipt and see if you can print this one without any issues.  If you can it is possible that the old receipt was damaged and causing it not to print.

    Hi Brad,

    Thanks for the response. Yes i am clicking the printer icon at receiving transaction entry window, after that it opens the window report destination having screen, printer, and file option. when i check mark scren/printer, or both at a same time, and click ok, it does not do anyhting. this issue is only occuring in one particular RCT#, other are fine.

    Hello Asher,

    Thank you for using Microsoft Online Communities.  I understand that you are not seeing any screen output for a Receivings in the Receiving Transaction Entry window against a PO.

    I would like to verify some further information with you regarding this issue.  When you are talking about the output for this receivings are you clicking the Printer Icon? The post button and closing the window and not getting Prompted? Or going File | Print?  I would like to know if it is any report in this window or related to an actual receipt number?

    Once I have this information I can test this further in my system to see what process would get the different reports to print.
