Hi,
an item has irrelevant unit cost in Navision 5.0.
I can see right values in Average Cost. Calc. Overview, but on item card there is too high value (35 714 285 714 285)... Inventory is 0 since 2013.
Do you have any idea, why this value is so high? How can I correct it? It's not an editable field because there are posted ledger entries.

By standard, the Unit Cost field is filled by the following formula: Unit cost = inventory value of items on hand (expected cost + invoiced cost) / quantity on hand . It can be the case that the inventory is very small but still is not zero. Please refer to more information on how this field is filled: msdn.microsoft.com/.../hh169034(v=nav.90).aspx
Run Adjust Cost - Item Entries Batch job for that item.

unit cost may vary but not this much most probably some one on your company edit run some unwanted programs (not related to them)
you can use Adjust Item Costs/Prices entry to correct this [refer below link]

Please make sure your users having permissions to unrelated areas , control their accessible areas with permission sets / permissions properly , this is definitely user error
do not let your users to go unwanted setup programs
