After doing our calendar year end close in December we are on version 11.00.1860 and the year-end date is 11/17/2011 as it should be. In reviewing the standard install instructions for the tax table update it says we should "install the latest updates" first which is now 11.00.1914 (or something like that).
We no longer run payroll but we do run 1099s so I've been told it would be agood idea to run the tax table update anyway.
Bottom line question: do I really need to install the latest update first (requiring me to update the server and 20 clients) or am I ok on build 11.00.1860 to just install the tax update?
