App Designer does not allow choice of new UI or Classic interface. Any suggestions on creating App under old UI

Posted on by 5

Like many people I find the UI a backwards step with an unfinished new UI with too much blank space and geared for mobile.

I am aware that the UI can be reverted back (in part) through these methods

https://community.dynamics.com/crm/f/117/t/315942

However, my problem is different.  When creating a new App it was possible to chose whether to use the old interface or the new one.  Now this function is removed.

Any ideas how I can create my app using the old interface. I thought I could re-import an existing solution, but again that forces the new interface on me.

Microsoft need to do major work on the new UI before our company would even consider a move.

Much appreciated

Jimbo

    Hi,

Unfortunately, it is not possible anymore to create new apps in classic interface.

    Hope this helps.

If am not wrong, for apps it takes the UCI by default, like Sales Hub and others which is build one UCI  and can't be used in old UI.

    Hope this helps.
