I'm planning to upgrade to SQL 2014 pretty soon and just wondered if there were any gotchas I should know about. I'm coming from SQL 2012
I've had no issues with past SQL upgrades, but with 2014 bringing many new features, you never know what you might run into

I have even got SQL 2014 running with older version of GP - not in production systems but in test and development labs.
Just tossing that in to the mix.
I have done few upgrades of SQL Server from SQL20%% to SQL 2014 with GP 2015 and GP 2015 R2 and I didn't come across any issues related to SQL server.
After the SQL Server upgrade you might want to change the compatibility level to "SQL Server 2014 (120)"
