Hello CS Experts,
I have come across this requirement to assign case record to another user even before the record is saved.
In the present setup in Case form, the Assign button will only get visible once the record has been saved already.
Is there a way to make it visible prior to saving so that the current user will be able to assign to some other user?

Hi Jolas365,
The 'the Assign button will only get visible once the record has been saved already' is one OOB behiviour, you can't change it, which is by-design.
Maybe you can create a workflow to assign the case automatically while creating it.
1.Create a new lookup field for user entity in the case.
2.Create a workflow in case entity:
