Errors Creating and Posting General Journals using Web service - Can it be done?

We are currently trying to create and post General Journals from another system. In this instance, the other system is Dynamics 365 (Customer Engagement). We have attempted to use Flow with the Nav connector and it said that it could not be created. We cannot connect to the Financials Sandbox instance using the Business Central connector. In addition, we have tried using a third-party tool (Scribe) and received a generic error back as well.

With all this said, can anyone confirm if you can create a General Journal via the webservice? If so, are there dependencies that we need to be aware of to have it successfully create and post?

Any help would be appreciated!

You can create that via an external application if you expose the General Journal Line table as web service. You need to create the record accordingly to the required key fields and values.

For posting, I recommend to do that from Business Central.
