I have set up the invoice journal with following values
Approver_Group (user 2) as approver
Create_Group b (user 1) as 'Private for user group'
User 1 creates the journal, User 2 is able to approve the journal and it all goes to to script so far.
But when user 1 goes back to post the journal AX throws the error - You do not have access to the APinvoice journal name.
Any clue as to why this is happening ?

What I can see from your setup, the business process required as follows:
1- User group A will have access to create, edit and view invoice journal.
2- User group B will have the ability to view and approve invoice journal.
3- User group A should post the invoice journal.
Correct?
If yes, I would recommend the journal workflow instead.

If User1 would only have to press the post button then it might be easier and faster to let the approver also directly post.

No modifications at all.
See below screen shot
The LMB_UG group has the user who created the journal and is trying to post now but facing the error.
User in the LMB_APP user group approved the journal without any issues.
As you can see from the form, there is no workflow attached.

Do you know if there have been some modifications to the journal and the invoicing process?
Do you use a workflow for the approval?
