I have some reporting requirements that require me to group legal entities and also provide aliases etc. I could have similar requirements potentially for other datasets too.
While these are reporting needs, I always prefer for master data elements to come out of a system and would therefore like this to be maintained in D365. I'm new to D365 but generally thought that D365 was pretty flexible, and we could do these kinds of things fairly easily.
Can anyone let me know if there is functionality already available to do this or can D365 be extended reasonably easily to capture details like this or is this not recommended?
