Selling in Multiple of in GP

Customer sells in each but their customers can only buy certain products in multiple of units. For example multiple of unit on the item is set to 3 and customer orders 5. The system should not allow this, should only allow 3,6,9, etc. Any suggestions or is anyone aware of a 3rd party product? Thanks

We have the same problem. We need to sell in eaches but only multiples of 8. I think the Myridas Unit of Measurement management module will do it. It's not a "huge" problem for us since it's only one item, so we're not chasing the third party right now. We have some pieces from Myridas and they all work very well. You can use the Unit of Measure for this and only add those U of M to the selling price of the item. So the U of M would be Sets (or what ever is decided) and 1 set would be 3 items, 2 would be 6, etc.. If the eaches is not added to the Price List, then it will give a message stating it is not set up. Did I understand the question correctly?
