Hi,

I have a solution that was exported from my Dynamics CRM Online (version 9.0) environment.
When I try to import this (managed) solution into my On Premise dynamics 365 (version 8.2) environment, i got message error

"Only solutions with a package version of 8.2 or lower can be imported into this organization"

Please any help.

Unfortunately there is no backward compatibility from v9.0 to 8.2 and On Premises v9 not released yet.

Hi,

Microsoft did not release v9.0 for on-premise.

Probably Microsoft will launch V9.1 which will be available for on-premise .

Based on new release of Dynamics 365 , Microsoft provides the compatibility notes of solution import supported version from higher version to lower . (Radu already shared the reference )

Solution from V9.0 to V8.2 is not possible via solution import , you need to go for manual operation in that case.

Unfortunately you can't import solutions from CRM 9.0 to lower versions. Please see the compatibility matrix in following article: docs.microsoft.com/.../introduction-solutions
