Im creating new purchase order from purchlistpage, i have put breakpoints in purchtable insert, update and write methods. It is never hitting there, but i see that purch id has been created in the table. How is it possible?

I tried cross reference for purchtable.purchid. It yields no results. even after cross reference update for purchtable. i tried cross reference for entire table with filter write. it yields so many table methods, class methods and form methods. should i check one by one? it looks very tedious.. or am i missing some simpler way..

Take a look at formMethodDataSourceCreate() method of PurchTableType class and put breakpoint to formMethodDataSourceCreate() method of NumberSeqFormHandler class.
I think you should hit insert method. Try to remove "Execute business operations in CIL" from your user options and debug again.
Also you can check what is the form that is used to create purchase orders (it's PurchCreateOrder or something like that) and examine and debug it.
Like Crispin said, cross references are your friend. Get cross references for PurchTable.PurchId, filter by Write, and you see where this field is populated.
I tried putting breakpoint in the said method. It doesnt hit when creating purchase order.. breakpoints works however.
