Relevance Search on Portal

Posted on by 5

I am new to this field. Need guidance on global search fields for relevance search.

When I do relevance search on Dynamics 365, it shows few fields liks : Record type, Owner, Modified On.

I wanted to show these fields on portals global search, when I search for any article these fields (like owner) should be visible. Is there a way? Right now only Record Type and modified date is visible. See below screenshot.

    RE: Relevance Search on Portal

    Hi Partner,

You can try by adding  a column in Portal search view for the specific entity on which you need to search a field for.

You can navigate to Settings -> Customization -> customize the system -> Entities -> Case -> View -> Portal search -> Add columns as required.

However you might need to rebuild the index referring the link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/portals/configure/search#rebuild-full-search-index

Another article for fields searchable https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/portals/configure/search#fields-searchable-in-global-search
