Dashboard - Unable to select personal view

While adding a List component on CRM dashboards, we are unable to select personal views for certain entities (like Invoice). However, for some entities we are able to select personal views. (including some system entities like account).

Below screenshot shows when we try to add an Invoice List component, we are unable to select peersonal views.

However, for a custom entity (Serial Code), we were able to select personal views.

Does anyone know the reason for this or how to enable personal views for other entities?

    Deactivating and activating default view worked.

    Hi Aakarsh, try to deactivate and activate the default public view of Invoice Entity.

    Hi Aakarsh, try to deactivate and activate the default public view of Invoice Entity.

    I am creating a new dashboard. Also, I was wondering since I am allowed to add personal view of one entity(serialcode), then it should be allowed to add personal view of other entities as well. What do you think?

    Hi, are you trying to add personal view in System dashboard? As suggested above, a personal view cannot be added to System dashboard.

    Yes I am able to see the view from main entity views list and from the Advanced Find saved views as well.

    Are you able to see it from the main entity views list or in the Advanced Find saved views?

    Thanks for the reply.

    I created a personal view. But it is not showing in the list component on the Dashboard.

    Is there any special setting for this?

    Hi

    I have just created a personal view on Invoice and I am able to add this to Personal Dashboard.

    Like suggested by Charles, It is more likely that the invoice personal view you are trying to add is created by someone else or you are trying to add Personal View on a system dashboard, not the personal dashboard.  A personal view cannot be added to System dashboard.

    If its view created by other users, please ask them to share it with you so that you can add to your personal dashboard.

    You can verify if you have access to this view, from Entity home page or Advance Find Saved views once you selected the entityy

    Hello,

    It looks like the personal views that you are able to see for serial code entity, were created by you; while, the ones that you are not able to see for the invoice entity are created by other users.

    In order to be able to see these views, you must ask the user who created them to share those views with you. After that, you will be able to see them and add them to your dashboard.
