Job 1040 issue relating to product assortment

Dear All,

Sometime job 1040 runs behave unexpectedly, it will create ONLY " DELETE_ax.RETAILASSORTMENTLOOKUP_A8DF5C39-5E61-4FF8-A716-A23D035DF003" file for applying in RSSU, in which all products included in DELETE_ax.RETAILASSORTMENTLOOKUP file , resulting products in MPOS disappeared because products are removed from assortment.

Then I run  job 9999 , after that "ax.RETAILASSORTMENTLOOKUP_CE26A865-475F-4A67-A027-89EBF6DAE5EE" file created along with other files against job 1040. then products again appear in MPOS due to products again add in assortment.

Any help on this why DELETE_ax.RETAILASSORTMENTLOOKUP file created whereas  user doesnt change  any assortment related setup from the d365 FO .

    If the 1040 and Process assortment jobs are set as recurring batch jobs. What is the frequency of both jobs? Do they overlap with each other? Just make sure that you run the 1040 job only after the assortment job is completed successfully. Process assortments jobs can take longer if you have a big product master or stores. If the users don't create products very often in a day, running process assortment once/twice is enough.

    Also, check batch job logs for 1040 and Process assortments to see if there are any warnings or errors. Also, confirm if there is only one active batch job for "Process assortment".

    I set the both jobs as a recurring batch job at 12 hrs interval means twice a day, process assortment run at 3:30 am and 3:30 pm whereas 1040 run at 4 am and 4 pm respectively. Users also run 1040 job as per need basis. Is it right. We have multiple 20 stores each one contain 50,000 items.
