CRM 365 outlook issue.

Hello All Experts,

I have a trouble to understand why outlook addins buttons are disabled for one of the email.

i have two emails configured in outlook one is x domain and another one is with y domain.

for y domain  i have two different emails   admin_user@y.com

user@y.com

my crm primary email is admin_user@y.com

 

in outlook user@y.com is configured

also user@x.com is configured in outlook.

when i click on inbox of user@y.com then outlook addin buttons are enable while selecting the 

user@x.com then outlook addins buttons are disabled. why this behaviour.

 

my default account for outlook is user@y.com is configured.

 

can anyone help me in resolving this.

    Hi,

    You could try the following methods.

    1. It is suggested to disable other add in and check the behavior.
    2. Check Compatibility as per article https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3124955/compatibility-with-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2016
    3. It is suggested to upgrade CRM version and Dynamics 365 for Outlook as per above compatibility list.

    Sometime it's greyed out sometime it's working fine .

    i need to find out that sometime, but how to?

    any asist will be helpfull.

    Hi,

    Do you mean that Dynamics 365 ribbon is grey out in the Outlook Command bar?

    I have test in my lab environment, I have configured two domain mailboxes in my outlook, and both of them are not my CRM primary mailbox.

    However, the Dynamics 365 ribbon is working in the two mailboxes.
