Trade agreement duplicates

Hi All,

 

Is there a way to detect duplicate entries when creating a Purchase price trade agreement? 

Scenario: Two identical lines> system should stop/generate error before posting.

 

Currently when I tested it is allowing me to post identical lines. Wondering if I missed a setup

    Hi @CU13032032-0 ,

     

    Could you please confirm if the duplicate lines mean the same item, price, and quantity are entered as separate lines within the same Trade Agreement?

    If yes, there is no standard validation to prevent this, so the system will not stop posting. I suggest using the Group Lines filter to identify duplicate items and see how many times each has been added, allowing the user to review them before posting.

    Hi, have you tried to turn on the ‘Check for overlaps and gaps’ setting? You can find it here:  Accounts Receivable/Setup/Accounts Receivable Parameters/Prices/Trade Agreement Validation (See screenshot below). Yes, this setting is in Accounts Receivable, but I believe it will apply to Purchase Trade Agreements as well.

    Yes. The above validation works for Purchase trade agreements also.
