Hi Friends,
Just found out, when you update worker's name, name is saved as a new record in DIRPERSONNAME table while old name is still there.
What's semantic behind this design? security purpose?

It is a kind of versioning. It would be possible to trace the correct name if someone by accident changed it. Also, you can keep track of Last names in case persons gets married and therefor changes names.
