I have an employee who had signed a contract and received a bonus when they started with our company. Contract stated that if they left prior to 2 years they would have to repay the initial bonus amount. This has now become the case so I am trying to figure out how to do "negative" wages so that the payback reduces her taxable wages for this year. Any ideas?
