Dynamics 365 Organization Update (CRM Update 2 on-prem) fails on System User is invalid

Posted on by

Hallo

We tried to update our production organization and the update fails with the message "The user Id(s) [<---User GUID Removed---->] is invalid." Does any one has seen this error before?

It could be that one user of that organization does not exist in the PrivUserGroup AD-group.

Probably you try to upgrade under a user/admin account that is not assigned to that AD-group.
