I'm trying to create a linked table in Access 2007 from GP and I'm getting the error,
"Mfg. Item Description" is not a valid name. Make sure that it does not.include characters or punctuation's and that it is not too long.
Any advice on how to accomplish the import?

Apparently it is the dot, and the space ... Additionally, you should have no spaces in the header of the retrieved data set
Try something like MfgItemDesc.
