Manually Select an Approver everytime a workflow is submitted

Can we have this functionality in D365 F&O to select the approver every time before submitting a workflow?

    Hi fshaikh,

    This requirement is not supported out of the box. You can solve it with a customization. E.g. add a field to the table to enter the person that should approve the document. Another custom participant provider would then be able to retrieve the user from your custom field and use it as input for the approver to be assigned to the work item.

    Hi,
    As Andre said, there is currently no such standard feature that works out of the box. You can use custom development to meet your needs, or you can go to Microsoft Idea and put forward your opinion and vote for it, and other people can vote for your idea, and if you vote enough, Microsoft will consider implementing your idea and adding it to the system as a standard feature. Here is the URL: Ideas (dynamics.com).
