I'm getting the error message when creating a Project Record.
Exception Message: Project owning company currency does not match the contracting unit currency. Pick different owning company or contracting unit for project to continue.
How do i determine the currency of the owning company and where can i change it?
I am also getting the same issue. Are you able to resolve this issue?
Hi,
You can change the currency under settings and on the Org units.The contracting unit should be in a different org unit with their currency setup, then added from that org unit to the project.Hope this helps.

We have posted the same query on the yammer group and received the following response.
You must perform the correct steps on DW in the upgrade to avoid this error:

Another member from the group responded that their issue is been resolved after performing the suggested steps but for us after upgrading the environment, we are not getting the currency issue but we are getting other issues, so we created a support ticket.
