We are currently developing a HoloLens 2 app which uses the PhotoCapture functionality in the UnityEngine.Windows.WebCam namespace.
However, when we start a video call with Remote Assist, the PhotoCapture stops working. This happens at the TakePhotoAsync step (to memory). There are no exceptions thrown and the callback is not resolved.
On the other hand, capturing a photo this way works just fine when the live preview is running on the Windows Device Portal.
We are curious about what the reason for this behavior might be.
