Upgrade from AX 2012 R3 to D365 finance and Operations

Hi All,

I am starting to upgrade from AX 2012 R3 to D365 for finance and operations and I am new in it.

I need some clarifications from your side for the below questions : 

1. I have Contoso environment for D365. Should I use this for upgrade or take new envrionment without default legal entities for D365?

2. Is there any checklist for code upgrade and data upgrade which need to be run in the AX 2012 R3 environment?

3. Is AX 2012 R3 CU8 and later version supported in the upgradation?

    Ax 2012 R3 is definitely supported , we have done upgrade from Ax 2012 R2 CU7
