Dynamics 365 v9 Leads

Posted on by Microsoft Employee
After upgrading to version 9, accounts and contacts fields changed in Lead forms. The “Company” field automatically creates an account when the lead is qualified. It used to ask if the account already exists. Same goes for the “Name” field. This is creating a mess with duplicates. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Duplicate Detection Rules are published for Account and Contacts.  This isn't preventing anything.

    Hi,

It will still show you warning for duplicate, make sure to check if duplicate detection rules for account is published, it will show this if duplicate detection rules are not published.
