Hi, good day! Kindly advise if anyone has encountered the same issue when printing a free text invoice and how it was resolved.

Error message:
A transaction currency is required to complete the currency calculation.

This error occurs because the Free Text Invoice has no valid transaction currency for exchange rate calculation.

Quick fix:

Ensure currency is selected on the invoice header

Verify customer currency is set correctly

Make sure exchange rates exist in the system

If still printing error persists, the posted invoice likely has missing currency data and may need to be corrected or reposted.

Please check the Totals button in the action pane for free text invoice if it's showing incorrect amout or any error the issue is realted to currency exchanges.

As mentioned by Rashid, you can refer all the setup as well.

This is mostlikely missing currency conversion setup in system.

Also its strange to get this error while printing. Did you tried to debugg this?

Hello,

Add a currency in your invoice header.

Don't forget even to add a value into your accounting exchange rate if it's a foreign currency.
