NAV2009-> which Server/SQL version will work with it

Posted on by 40

Hi,

we still use 2009 RTC/Classic, but on Windows Server/SQL 2008.

Due to potential security issues I would like to move my NAV2009 to the most actual Server (e.g. 2016) and SQL (whatever version possible).

Does anyone has experience and knows what will work and what don't?

thanks in advance

GGA

If you can make a connection and do some transactions, and if you don't see any issues then you should be good. Try with different users/permissions.

    thx.,

any hint where we need to look after it starts?

I don't see why not. Just do a test first to see if everything is okay.

It may support, you have to try it.

Officially it supports SQL Server 2012
